Ooh, I just love Christmas and shopping for gifts is one of my favourite things to do. I love buying my Hubby gifts, I like finding something new and a bit different for him. Buying gifts for me is about finding something that the person will love and not just something that will do. For this reason I normally start my Christmas shopping lists much earlier in the year so I have an idea what to buy people.
My Hubby is generally quite difficult to buy for, he likes luxury gifts and often does not ask for much, so I have put together a gift list of items for men. Something they will love but might not have thought about.
Christmas Gifts for Him
One thing he does love is a nice bottle of alcohol, we both love gin, he also loves brandy and whiskey. I love a subscription box so why not a luxury bottle arriving monthly, or three monthly, such a fabulous idea. The Sumerton Club are offering just this, you get a bottle delivered to you that is worth at least £50 and they guarantee that you cannot buy it cheaper elsewhere. Some months it has been a bottle of whiskey, a bottle of brandy or a bottle of rum. I love this idea, I know it is also perfect for my Hubby, it will mean his Christmas presents will be delivered to him throughout the year. I might also get my father-in-law this as a gift.
For a Christmassy gin, then Rock Rose Gin Winter edition is the perfect one for this. A gin that is infused with the subtle notes of pine needles. I cannot wait to give it a try, it’s kind of a gift for him that I can share to. I also love the bottle, it has that rustic solid feel to it.
My hubby is not a chef but he is more than happy to cook dinner for us, he loves to marinate meat with different spices. I found a Spice Pioneer subscription box of spices and herbs. Each box is filled with a few different spices that he can experiment with. They also produce a G&T infusion box if you fancy having a go at infusing your own gin.
Every year I buy my Hubby some items of clothing, this year I went for a Navy checked waist coat and bow tie. Although I’m not sure if he will ever wear the bow tie, I actually love it and think it will look great with the waist coast. Dobell have a fabulous range of suits and waist coats for men plus just about every accessory a gentleman could want.
Being active is really important and to my Hubby more than many, he is regularly training or in the gym. With the colder weather coming I have found some thin gloves that will be perfect for him during the winter months when he is out running, Kymira Sport have a great range of thermal items that are perfect for the winter months. The gloves are also great for going under his ski gloves for when we go to Finland.
While my Hubby trains he often will play training programs through his phone. So I found this awesome little Kew Labs portable bluetooth speaker that is perfect for having in the training studio along, it has great sound qualities and is waterproof so does everything he needs, plus it looks super sleek.
One thing my Hubby always says is that his coffee goes cold while at work or someone walks off with his mug. So I found this cool Camera lens travel style mug, from Find Me A Gift. It’s something that will not only keep his drinks warm but no-one else will have the same mug so won’t take it. It’s super cool and looks just like a camera lens.
Over the last few months, our son has learnt to ride his bike. So this Christmas i thought that buying helmets and hornets for both my Hubby and son would be a lovely idea. Hornit make a fabulous range to helmets for children, I thought a black stealth one would be perfect for them both. Hornit also make a range of lights that are also horns, perfect for both adults and children. I have to say I love the Hornit range, it is funky and cool for both kids and adults.
What do you think to my Christmas gift guide for his this year? I love the items I have put together for it.
*I have been sent items to include within my gift guides. As always thoughts and opinions are my own.*
