For a while now we have been talking about our forever home. It’s still not quite a reality, but one day it will be, are saving and dreaming about things we would love to have within the house. Most of my inspiration for the different rooms and be found on my various different Pinterest boards.

Recently we have been thinking about the bathroom. I would love a very tradition bathroom. Freestanding with beautiful feet and a fabulous mixer tap with an attached shower head.  Rectangular sink with lovely taps, then a matching toilet.

There are so many different free standing baths to choose from when you start looking. Roll top, doubled ended bath, slipper bath, one that has a flat side to push up against the wall. Then you look at what it is made from and if you are able to paint it, or if you can have a shower over it.

I think of often finding a matching bathroom suite is the easiest thing to do. It means you are not having to source items from different companies. So as long as you have your measurements correct online is a great place to begin your search.

The BigBathroomShop offer a fabulous range of bath room items, traditional and more modern styles.

I love the more traditional home styles, so for me this Milano traditional double ended slipper bath would be the perfect style bathroom suite for our forever home.

I would consider either wooden panelling or large white brick style tiles on the walls. But the flooring I would love a beautiful tiled floor, that us patterned being the statement of the bathroom. I would then accessories with a lovely traditional radiator towel rail a lovely big mirror and fluffy towels in either a white or a very pale pastel shade.

I just have to find a house with a bathroom the right size for this to happen now.
