Dinning room inspiration with Fishpools

As the colder nights are setting in an our gatherings with friends will become more about sitting down to dinner instead of in the garden, I have been thinking about what I would like from a dinning room. As you all know we are not in our forever home, but I do have big dreams for what it will be like.

Dinning Room Inspiration with Fishpools

We are planning to live in the in the country, I would really like something with a farm house feel. Solid wood, seating 8 people, cushioned chairs, so you have something comfy to sit at, also love a great looking sideboard and I currently have a vintage french dresser that was my Granny’s that I will keep, but having a matching sideboard would be lovely.

Fishpools got in touch and challenged me to put together a dinning room wish list. As my head is normally full of ideas for our future home, I thought I can do this easily. I do, however have an issue with make a decision, I think things over for hours and then change my mind and normally change it back again. With this challenge it was no different. So after hours of looking at the gorgeous dinning room items at Fishpools I came up with my wish list.

The dinning table

This beautiful grey washed oak and soft grey Chateau 6-8 seater extending dinning table. Just look at those beautiful legs. It would look perfect in my dinning room.

The chairs

Although with the Chateau range there a a couple of different chair options these are the ones that stood out to me the most. Soft grey Chateau fabric chairs, although I do worry about the mess the children will make on them. I love them and I think they will get the table off perfectly.

The sideboard

This lovely large soft grey Chateau sideboard, with a beautiful vase on top and a mirror hanging over the top will give me that much needed storage space for the nice cutlery and serving plates to live.

Little extras

The mirror to hang above the beautiful sideboard would be as large as possible to fit almost the same size as the side board, to reflect lots of light and make the space look bigger. I really like this Trafalgar gold mirror.

I imagine having a beautiful light hanging over the middle of the table, something that is a statement that hangs fairly low. Something like this Ray Tripple Antique bass one, I think would just set off that vintage feel that I really love.

So what do you think about my picks from Fishpools for my dream dinning room?
