Note book Heaven at Tangible Stationery

It’s no secret that I love stationery, I mean really love stationery. I find myself buying items all the time, I now don’t think I will need another note book for about five years. However that doesn’t stop me buying more items to add to my collection of gorgeous things.

I have found recently that I love writing in fountain pen, I used to love my Parker fountain pens at school and when I was at training college my Hubby bought me one for taking notes with, its now 11 year old and hidden in the depts of my draw. However, now you can get a disposable fountain pen, which means no buying ink cartridges and loosing them and buying more only to find that 100 pack you bought a couple of days later. Made my life so much easier.

Note book Heaven at Tangible Stationery

Like I say I love note books, and Tangible Stationery have a fabulous range of gorgeous note books. Now, we all spend so much time on our screens, there is an app for just about everything, so we don’t even have to take a pen with us anywhere.

For me, I love having a note pad with me to be able to quickly jot something down. Putting pen to paper for me is a relaxing thing to do, it stops me looking at the screen of my iPhone adding notes to my apps. Plus I love being able to cross something out that isn’t suitable.

Matidla Myres produces lovely note books and diaries, I love this pink and green, rose gold foiled note books. The pages are ivory in colour and lined, with lovely rounded edges. Plus they look so pretty. The note books have a luxury feel to them, no cheap see through pages, which is great for a fountain pen lover like me. I also like that each page has a little box at the bottom so you are able to number the pages to suit your plans for the note book.

Lists made easy

I love to make lists and for me I love a magnetic note pad that sticks to the fridge, I write down things that need replacing when I do the next food shop. Or I will make lists of items I need to remember for a day out or a holiday, birthday party I really love a list. This gorgeous teal gift set from Matilda Myres, includes a lovely bright floral note book and the perfect fridge note book.

I really like the products available at Tangible Stationery, I just hope they start to expend the product range to include other items. If the quality and style of other items matches the note books, it would the place to for all of your stationery needs. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for more products.

Are you a stationery lover? What is your favourite stationery item?

*Thank you Tangible Stationery for sending me out these items to include within my post. As always thoughts and opinions are my own.*

My love of stationery – National Stationery week 2017

The 24th-31st of April 2017 is National Stationery Week and I wanted to get involved with all the fun. I love stationery simple as that.

Note books

National Stationery Week

My favourite being note books and pens. I have so many lovely notebooks. I keep one in my hand bag, just in case I have an amazing idea while out and about. There is one by the bed, because it was so annoying when I come up with fabulous blog posts in the middle of the night, but I have forgotten by the morning. I love nothing more than popping into a shop and seeing a pretty note book that I just have to have.

Anyway, everyone knows I love note books, but I thought I would share with you my other stationery loves too.

Planner

National Stationery Week

My Kikki K planner, stylish, chic and fun, soft to touch leather and full of everything I could possibly need. Space for my business cards to sit, or other lovely cards I have picked up at various events. Space for my calendar, which is so important for planning everything, my whole life evolves around my calendar. There are contact pages, notes for meetings, extra information, a section for each of the blogs. Note paper and cute little zipped pockets for storing things in.

I love the Kikki K range. There are so many beautiful items that I just want to take home with me. I visited their shop in Covent Gardens a little while ago, I had to restrain my spending that day. One of the things I do like about the range is they do all sorts of extra items to go along with each planner they design. Notebooks (yes please), pens, stickers, accessory packs, journals, gift wrap and cards, so many extras to complete your collection. They even have matching cups and saucers.

I think my love of rose gold and copper colours came from spending hours on their website last summer.

National Stationery Week

I had seen so many videos of people personalising their planners, with stickers, paperclips that had ribbon and feathers attached, little gems, washi tape, keyrings, book marks and various other creative items. When it comes to putting your personal touch to a planner anything goes. I had decided that I wanted to add a large fluffy pom-pom and tassels to mine, sounds awful but I really love it. Searching eBay I found a lush pink one that only cost a couple of pounds. I have found similar for a lot more on the high street. I find myself playing with the fluffy pom-pom during my idea-storming sessions, it seems to act as a stress reliever.

Pens

I also have a little collection of pens from various different places. Often I will pick up a nice pen if we go out for the day. I buy the children a pencil each from the gifts shop of all the places we visit. It’s great for them do some drawing on the way home in the car, plus they see it as a treat. My only problem with pens is I keep loosing them! I’m not sure if it is just me being forgetful or the pens just run away from me and hide in places never to be seen again. My Hubby is so good with his pens, each day he takes 3 pens with him to work. He always returns with the same pens, I have no idea how he does it. Perhaps he doesn’t actually do any thing at work…

Personalised Stationery

I love the idea of having personalised stationery, little thank you cards, labels of envelopes, stamps and not forgetting note books, always note books. I have recently found a company Logojoy that offer you a personalised logo creating experience, the perfect way to get your dream logo designed by you onto your stationery. I can’t wait to try this get my hands on my very own range of personalised stationery.

There are so many stationery items I use all of the time, glue dots (high five to the person who came up with those little gems!), washi tape, craft scissors, cute little shaped paper clips, rubbers, list pads. The list is endless. Not forgetting my cute little business cards.

What is your must have stationery items for this years National Stationery Week?
