Happy First Birthday Champagne and Petals

Happy Valentines day everyone, the 14th of February also means Happy First Birthday to my lovely little blog. When I was first wondering what to blog about on my very own blog, I knew that I didn’t want to have a family blog. Although I am a Mummy and I love my little ones very much, I knew that I wanted something for me, for my passions and as I love all things lifestyle and weddings. Plus to help with inspiration for our forever home. I had never really had a hobby before, so I really wanted one just for me. Therefore Champagne and Petals was born, my very own tiny part of the internet that has been my home for that last year through the good times and the bad.

I cannot believe Champagne and Petals is already a year old and I have been part of this wonderful blogging community for a year…… how did that happen.

Champagne and Petals

It’s been quite a year, a year of learning about the world of blogging, meeting lots of fabulous bloggers, working with some wonderful brands and PR companies. Not forgetting all of my wonderful followers.

The blogging community is made up of some the most amazing people I know, from all different back grounds and each one having their own reason for blogging. We help each other, encourage each other and support each other as much as possible. I honestly had no idea about having my own web site and even what a URL was a couple of years ago, I have learnt so much and I am very thankful to each and everyone for their help.

This year I have attended a few different blogging conferences, BlogOn being my absolute favourite, BritMums, Blog Camp On Board and then BlogOn Christmas. Blog conferences are places you get to learn from some of the best industry, they give you tips and inspiration plus you get to meet other bloggers who have now become friends.

I have worked with some fabulous brands this year, Fentimans, Sleepbear, Amara Living, Cox & Cox, Ragdale Hall, Rainbow ClubHoliday Extras, Inghams and most recently our trip to Caalm Camp, plus so many more. I have loved working with each and every one over the last year, I have had a wonderful time being creative with my posts and images.

Not forgetting all of my wonderful readers and followers, on the blog and across all of my social media platforms. I couldn’t do it without you all. Thank you all for coming with me this last year, can’t wait to see you for the next year.

It’s been a fabulous year and I cannot wait to see what exciting things the next year has in store for Champagne and Petals.
