Royal wedding fever is hitting the country, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to marry on the 19th May. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am about this, I love the Royal family and I am very proud to be British. For the wedding I plan to spend the day in front of the TV watching every second possible.
As the excitement builds for the new Royal couple, it also increases the excitement for engaged couples planning their weddings over the coming months and years. Dreaming about having their own Royal Wedding but without the Royal budget.
Weddings can be expensive, often people find it difficult to stick within their original budgets when they start looking into costs. Everyone wants their wedding to be just perfect and have all of those little extras that make it extra special, but it’s these items that can increase the costs. However, Aldi are releasing their very own wedding range just in time for the Royal Wedding. Not only great value for money but also gorgeous.
Aldi’s wedding range
Aldi’s new range will be available to pre-order from Sunday 13th May on line and will be in stores from Thursday 17th May, they will sell out quick so make sure get them while you can.
Aldi have kindly sent me a few items, to give my lovely readers a sneak peak of the gorgeous items that will be available.
Every organised Bride or Groom needs a wedding planner. When I got married it came within me everywhere, filled with lists of cake makers, dress designers, guests, ideas, colour schemes, little snippets I had cut out of magazines. I still have it now hidden away with the rest of the bits from the wedding that I have kept. I love this little planner that only costs £4.99, and has everything you could possibly want inside it, including a 12 month check list to make sure you don’t miss anything off your list.
So many weddings now use bunting, it’s all those small touches that make weddings memorable, Aldi’s cute bunting is only £2.99, which means you could afford to buy numerous ones to use within your wedding setting.
Stationery for weddings is also important, it’s also something that can increase the costings, one invite alone could set you back £10. Luckily Aldi have produced table place cards and table number at £2.99 a pack. Along with a wedding invitation bundle, that includes, RSVP’s and save the date cards for only £12.99. I love the elegance of these, plus they would suit lots of different wedding themes.
Having a guest book at weddings continues to be popular, something for you guests to write words of wisdom or congratulations in. They are also lovely things to look back on in the future to bring back fabulous memories about from your big day. Aldi’s gorgeous guess book is only £9.99.
Within the collection you can also find, Mr & Mrs wooden decorations (£3.99), a light box (£8.99), Mr & Mrs Pillow cases (£5.99), fairy lights (£2.99), balloons (£2.99), pom poms (£2.99), confetti (£0.89) and there is even a fabulous retro looking Polaroid snap instant camera (£79.99) that’s perfect for snapping those fun pictures in the evening. Plus a range of gift bags and tag.
I am really impressed with this gorgeous range of wedding items from Aldi. I think they would be prefect for anyone looking for that rustic, vintage feel to their special day. I’m looking forward to seeing if they bring out anything else for weddings.
*Thank you Aldi for sending me these lovely items to include within my blog post. As always thoughts and opinions are my own.*
